1981-1985
Kapil chit funds came into existence on 3rd May 1981. The first office was a rented premises near clock tower in Karimnagar town. On date Kapil chit funds shifted to their own premises, which is now the registered office.
1985-1990
In January 1986 our first branch was opened at Mayur Kushal Complex Abids.
1990-1995
In June 1990, we opened branches at Hanamkonda. In 1991 Suryapet and Kharkhana branches were Opened. 1992 saw us opening a branch at Khammam and in 1994 our Kukatpally branch was started. In August 1995 we opened a branch at Eluru. In a span of a decade, we were with nine branches and were still concentrating on the Telangana region.
1996-2000
In 1996, we opened branches at Mancherial and Dilshuknagar. In 1997 we started a branch at Warangal. In 1998, we opened branches at S.D Road Secunderabad, Kothegudem, Huzurabad and Rampur. In 1999, branches were opened at Santoshnagar, Nalgonda, Machilipatnam and Godavarikhani. The year 2000 saw us opening branches at Jagityal, Nirmal, Mahabubabad, Kazipet, Ashoknagar and Ameerpet. The year 2000 also saw a lot of professionalism come into the group by way of better management practices. A company, which believed in promoting managers from within slowly, started changing its ideology and began taking people into middle management positions.
2001-2005
This period is a period of record growth for the company. Kapil entered Andhra and Rayalseema regions in a big way. 2001 saw us open branches at Kushaiguda, Vishakapatnam, Vinayaknagar, Sangareddy and Gudiwada. In 2002, we opened branches at Jangaon, Siddipet, Miryalguda, BHEL, Kamareddy and Kodad. In 2003 we began operations at Guntur, Vijayawada and Boopalpally. There was phenomenal growth in the year 2004. 35 branches were opened at locations like Orugallu, NAD Vizag, Garimella, Prodattur, Vikarabad, Habsiguda, Mankammatotha, Cuddappa, Khairthabad, Kakinada, Chirala, Srikakulam, Tirupathi, Vijayanagaram, Rajamundry, Nellore, Tenali, Ongole, Ponnuru, Amalapuram, Adilabad, Kurnool, Anakapalli, Hindupur, Narsaraopet, Bhimvaram, Ananthapur, Gudur, Kavali, Nandyal, Nuzuvid, Rajampet, Palasa, Bodhan and Vijayawada-2. In 2005 branches were opened at Mahabubnagar, MVP Colony, Bongir, Macharla, Jangareddy gudem, Adoni, Rajam and Badvel.
Kapil is still growing at a fast pace. To keep up with this pace of growth, we have in place a fully computerized system, a progressive management team and dedicated staff who continue to help Kapil grow and nourish.
